Out
of Storage Part 2:
October 28, 2012 - January 6, 2013
Piet Paris
The
first part of Out of Storage shows furniture and display material of the
exhibition in the Timmerfabriek in Maastricht organized by Marres, Centre
for Contemporary Culture in 2011.
EventArchitectuur (Herman Verkerk and Paul Kuipers) in collaboration with
graphic designer Maureen Mooren were responsible for this exhibition design.
In the second part of the exhibition the installation by EventArchitectuur
will get back it's original function: it will show 'Art'. You can seen
the world famous fashion illustrations by Piet Paris.
Piet
Paris
Paris commisioned EventArchitectuur to design the setting for the 2005
and 2007 Arnhem Fashion Biennial, which he curated. In 2010 EventArchitectuur
worked with Piet Paris on his Hirsch Department Store exhibition in Amsterdam.
Piet Paris makes illustrations and designs products that stem from a pronounced
engagement with fashion design. He has been working for magazines and
corporate clients all over the world for more than twenty years. Paris
developed a technique that makes his work unique in its multi-layeredness
and vigorous composition. |
